Education can make the way to jobs, resources, and skills that every family needs to not just survive, but thrive. Access to high-quality education and supporting child well-being is a globally-recognized solution to the cycle of poverty. This is, in part, because it also addresses many of the other issues that can keep communities vulnerable. A large number of children never see a classroom. Others drop out due to congestion, conflict. Poverty and education are inextricably connected, because people living in poverty may stop going to school so they can work, which leaves them without the education and numeracy abilities they need to further their careers.
